Earlier this spring, legendary Detroit rocker Ko Melina decided to start documenting all the amazing artists, small businesses, musicians and organizations that are fighting the good fight to help Detroiters battle covid 19. That project is known as The Heart of Detroit. Every day, Ko posts a new black & white, mask-clad photo to the @the_heartof_detroit on Instagram, and for over 150 days (and counting) this 100% non-profit labor of love continues to inspire.
