Answer to GRQOTW57 - Fraz is travelling pretty well in the monthly medal, half a dozen under handicap with three holes to go. His drive on 16 lands left half of the fairway but takes an awful kick left into the tree line. He arrives to find the ball jammed close to a tree with not much swing. Incensed by the injustice, and after a furtive peek to see if any group member is watching, he employs the ol' foot wedge and gives the ball a little nudge sideways so he has a reasonable swing and he then makes the stroke towards the green. At this point, the Club Captain, who had been enjoying a little stroll around the course and witnessed this performance, clapped his hand on the player's shoulder. What is the ruling?

GRQOTW58 - Charlotte hits a putt on the green that looks to be heading past the hole and could potentially hit Helen's ball. Helen sees this and rushes over to quickly pick up her ball so Charlotte isn't penalised. After Charlotte's balls slides past, Helen puts a ball-marker down to mark the position of her ball that was rest on the green. What is the ruling?
