Am Kamakshi (A) Abilashni Venkateswaran - full time software engineer by profession, also an influencer, blogger, writer and author by passion.
Writing and oration has always been my passion ever since my childhood! I could always crave for opportunities right from school to either hold mic or to hold pen! But my passion towards writing and oration has an interesting history! I was someone who was scared for vocabulary and English, with lot of insecurities, but then when I decided to break this barrier, never did I imagine am gonna shine in this!
Instagram was like my destination to showcase all the passion within me! I have been writing blogs for almost 6 years and then landed up in Insta, as an influencer to showcase young talents and their ventures - under the account named "Kannamma Contents"
But more than products, I started receiving so much appreciations for the narration and way I write! That is where I started to pursue writing as major passion and then started lockdown.
I used to see increasing cases, sometimes near and dear ones - deaths because of COVID and many times we face the symptoms amongst us. That is where I thought to work on something positive - started a series called "High On Hindustan" in my Kannamma Contents page. Every day about every state - history, their specialties and unknown facts, things we should be proud of, myths believed and interesting background stories behind every culture!
I collaborated with photographers across country, to sync best with my contents and I got huge responses for that!
Post which I had another short series, named "Celebrating Common Man" - that highlighted common people around us and their achievements!
Then happened a huge turning point - Series called "Lockdown Cinephile", that highlighted all my favorite movies and the impact that it created in me! My followers just doubled I would say and every day, lots of follower's message, comments, love…
Followed by my dream, my first book as co-author was released. And after receiving the book, keeping them in my mini library was so emotional moment for me! I also have two more books released and am yet to receive copies!
From a girl who was extremely insecure on her language and oratory skills, from a girl who was into too much of depression and weak mental health - now being able to succeed in both and break barriers, becoming a blogger and also writing /assisting on many mental health related problems - I remain my own motivation many times :)
