For lack of a better phrase, Kpop is a big influence on our desire. Whether it is a momentary daydream or some full-fledged fan fiction. The effort and craft these idols and their companies exhibit influence the way we feel, see, and hear them. Give them more skinship, they say and they will pay! Throw in a little queer love and they will follow and tweet and stan. Not everything is a tactic at first but once it makes money for these companies, then it is used and abused to the point where fans recognize it but can't get enough of it. Today with the ladies of Drunk Kpop, we discuss Queerbaiting in Kpop and how it influences our desires.

It's that time of year where music is in the air and international fans are ruining their sleep schedule to cheer on their favorite idols in hopes they take home that big shiny trophy! Although it should be a time of excitement and joy, it often turns into fights, petty drama, and ruined nights for a lot of people, fans and idols alike. But why does something that's supposed to be such a joyous night cause so many issues? Guess you'll have to listen to find out.
