In this presentation, Roger traces one of the most radical transformations in Western spiritual history: the enantiodromia, the great turning-inside-out by which ancient Egyptian and Hermetic wisdom moved from guiding souls after death to awakening consciousness in the living. Beginning with the Pyramid Texts and indigenous African origins of Egyptian wisdom, Roger unfolds the meaning of The Kore Kosmou (“The Virgin of the World”) as a dialogue between Isis and Horus that repositions the Eye of Horus from the transcendent peak of the pyramid to the living center of the world. Drawing on Hermetic texts, Jung, astrology, Manilius, Virgil, and the symbolism of Virgo and Libra, the lecture reveals how wisdom became magical rather than merely natural, conscious rather than procedural, and why the feminine principle must descend into life to make spirit fertile in the world. This is a dense, luminous exploration of consciousness, tradition, and the moment—two thousand years ago—when human awareness itself was re-forged, a change we are only now beginning to recognize.
