Arc 2.0

Kóredé Temilade | The Herald's Handbook

Listen Later

In this message, Kóredé Temilade explore what it means to be a herald of Christ through the example of John the Baptist and the Gospel of Mark.

  • Mark is believed to be the first Gospel written.
  • The Gospel of Mark was written by John Mark, who closely worked with Peter.
  • As believers, we have a heritage on earth but our true citizenship is in the Kingdom of Heaven.
  • The word “gospel” originally referred to a public proclamation of good news before becoming a Christian term.
  • Everything we do communicates a message—our lives preach every day.
  1. Living Evidence – Your life should reflect the message you proclaim.
  2. Humble – We proclaim Christ, not ourselves (2 Corinthians 4:5).
  3. Steadfast – Hold on to the truth and remain faithful.
  4. Authentic – Avoid hypocrisy.
  5. Spirit-Filled – Depend on the Holy Spirit.
  6. Hopeful – Carry and share hope.
  7. Honest – Walk in truth and integrity.
  8. Courageous – Be prepared to face hostility for the Gospel.
