For this episode, Brian and Sean spoke to Scott Evans (guitar/vocals) and Jon Howell (guitar) of Oakland CA’s titans of spacious and crushing metal, Kowloon Walled City. They’re a longtime favorite of ours and a band that we've been circling since the earliest days of the fest so it’s a huge deal for us to finally be bringing them out for their first-ever Denver show.

We talk about the history of the band, the challenges of making time for writing and touring opportunities between families and day jobs, Scott’s work as a recording engineer at his Antisleep Audio studio, joining the Neurot Recordings family and the endless fount of inspiration that is PJ Harvey.
