This week on the KPL Podcast, we spoke with Edward Schmit about his debut novel, The Open Era.  The story is about two pro tennis players who begin a romance during the US Open.  One is openly gay and the other is not.  The two must navigate their feelings while still playing a match against each other. The book also delves into mental health and the toll it can take on a person.
