Episode 10 - Krampus

In this episode Laura and Craig send you off and get you in the spooky festive spirit chatting about Krampus.

Krampus is a legend from all over central and eastern Europe. He’s a devil-esque anti-Santa who steals naughty children, bundles them in his sack and whisks them away to the underworld (or drowning or eating them, depending which legend you read.)

We discuss the possible origins of Krampus, what he does, why he was banned in some countries in the early 20th century and how he is celebrated in modern day.

This will be our last episode until the new year. But keep an eye on our feed on or around Christmas Eve for a little Christmas Present from us.
