We Sit down with Head of Consumer Business for the National Rugby League Shaun McMartin

Shaun started his career in the corporate world as a finance professional working for Merrill Lynch & Perpetual Limited. Before a restructure saw him looking for work. He got a 6-month contract at the NRL and has turned that into a 7-year job heading up the Consumer Business side of the game. This part of the NRL looks after all the main events such as State of Origin, Magic Round, and the Grand Final. Shaun discusses the NRL as a business, the link between the clubs and head office, and we find out why it costs $40 for a pie, chips, and a beer at the footy.
