It was great chatting to former footballer Kris Taylor about life after football. We discussed his current job, his transition, how he recovered from cancer and was able to return to the field within months and more.

Transitioning from professional sport in to another career. Athletes have transferable skills which are suited to other industries and organisations and not just sport. A lot of athletes and industry leaders aren’t aware of this. I aim to spread the message by having conversations with former athletes that have made the transition, they will tell their story. I will also use my personal experience having made a seamless transition from professional sport. 

There’s no right or wrong way to make the transition; it’s important that you do what’s right for you, follow your own path. Good luck!
