Shri Krishna Janmashtami, it's a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu. Janmashtami is widely celebrated in India and special pujas are organised in honour of Lord Krishna. On Janmashtami, people worship ‘Bal Gopal’ and offer him Prasad and bhog.
