In this class, Rasikananda Swami (affectionally known as Rasik Maharaja) reveals the hidden treasures of the Mahamantra through the first word, Hare. Entering the divine moods of Sri Radha and Krishna, he unfolds the lineage of transcendental “thieves” who steal away all sorrow, attachments, and even Krishna’s own flute. Listeners are carried into the heart of Vrindavan, where Radha and the sakhis bewilder Krishna in a whirlpool of prema, hiding his beloved flute amidst playful quarrels and divine exchanges. Through these lilas, Rasik Swami illuminates how the chanting of the Holy Names contains all of Krishna’s highest pastimes and how, by taking shelter of the Vaishnavas and their mercy, we too may have our hearts stolen and filled with the nectar of divine love.
This class was recorded at Samarpan Sanctuary, NY on September 20, 2025.
