Kristen Pelletier, a native of Sanford,  She was involved, In a  life-altering car accident prior to her senior year of high school that left her paralyzed from the waist down. Now, as a mother of two, she is pursuing the title of Ms. Maine in an upcoming United States of America pageant. Her goal is to demonstrate that individuals with disabilities are not defined by their conditions. Regardless of the outcome, Kristen is dedicated to supporting others with disabilities and aims to raise funds for specialized equipment to aid in their recovery.
