Kristin Smith is the Executive Director of the Blockchain Association, the Washington DC-based trade association representing more than 80 of the industry’s leading companies. Smith serves as a liaison between policymakers and the cryptocurrency industry to assist in the creation of legislation and regulation that promotes the growth of the cryptocurrency ecosystem in the U.S.

Kristen Smith discusses the changing tide around crypto policy in the US among policy makers. Smith lays out some of the next steps in the crypto regulatory roadmap, including crypto spot ETF’s. She explains why education around crypto is the most important tool in converting indifferent politicians and policy makers.
