Back in May 2020, Krystal decided to start a book club to help some girlfriends deal with the dreaded lockdown of the pandemic. We followed Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine Booklist and happened upon The Henna Artist, by none other than Alka Joshi. Alka had been working on this book for a decade, and had just released it when the lockdowns happened. With a lot to share, and nowhere to go, Alka took her passion for the book and its characters to Zoom book clubs (to date, she has been part of over 900!). We had wonderful talk back then! Since then, Alka has written and released 2 more best-selling books and is about to release a 4th on April 15th 2025. This woman is incredible and this interview is a big recommend! Thanks Alka!
