I thought I'd just throw out a wee special show in celebration of Rober Burns Day today.
Robert Burns was born in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1759 and died 1796 one of seven children and son of a cotter. Many famous poems and songs, none more so than Auld Lang Syne that is known all over the world and sung at new year.
To a Haggis from 1787 is also a well known Burns poem always read (address to the haggis) as part of any Burns Supper.
Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver & lungs) minced together with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and mixed with a stock then stuffed into a sheep stomach lining. Today it is stuffed into a sausage skin.
