A relative newcomer to the DJ landscape in Toronto, Kiyan ( @kiyan_azarbar / fb.com/djkiyanazarbar ) has been music-obsessed since his first record at age 7. Moving quickly through a spectrum of genres, his most lasting passion has been a lifelong devotion to the sounds of the synthesizer: powerful basslines, dramatic pads, and arpeggiated rhythm. Today his mixes run the spectrum from deep house to techno to progressive, but at the heart of each set is a core of almost unwavering melody.
