State Legislature approves constitutional amendment for the November ballot
It’s now official – Utahns will vote on a proposed constitutional amendment in November. The proposal would clarify and modify the citizen ballot initiative process. We’ve gone over the nuts and bolts of the proposal; now it’s time to hear from both sides. Utah State Representative Jordan Teuscher (R-Salt Lake County) provides the support for the changes; Utah State Representative Rosemary Lesser (D-Weber County) gives us the opposition’s view on the amendment and the entire special session process.

The Democratic National Convention finishes today
The Democratic National Convention wraps up today with the main event speaker: presidential nominee Kamala Harris. We’ve been getting insights on the convention all week long; today we hear some thoughts from another Democratic delegate, Salt Lake City Councilmember Victoria Petro. Rocky Mountain Power defends rate increase proposal to Utah Legislature
