Utah Supreme Court agrees to hear ballot challenge in CD-2
We’ve learned that the Utah Supreme Court will hear a challenge regarding ballots that were postmarked late in the GOP primary race in the 2nd Congressional District. Challenger Colby Jenkins is asking the court to force the counties to count those previously-disqualified ballots. Death row inmate executed; first legal execution in Utah in 14 years
Early this morning, death row inmate Taberon Honie was executed by lethal injection. It was the first execution in the state in 14 years, and the first one done by lethal injection since 1999.
