There used to be an old mining lake near Kuchi Kaadu Estate. A family of sisters would pass by the lake on their way home from work. One day, while they were washing their hands at the lake, the youngest sister fell in and was dragged along with the second sister. The attempt to save them both failed, and only the second sister could be rescued. It was said that this was the realm of entities from beyond.
