The contest themes of @gamingphoto helps us seeing things in a video game that we normally ignore.
While riding toward Hiyoshi Pass, I rescued a peasant from bandits in the Golden Forest ang got a tip. After scouting the Kuta Grasslands, I cleared a Mongol-held bridge using stealth and archery. Despite a failed standoff, I defeated the leader and made the territory safe for everyone.
I was riding toward the Hiyoshi Pass bridge, intending to ignore side activities, but I couldn't pass by when I saw some Mongols torturing a defenseless man in the Golden Forest.
After clearing out most of the Mongols, only a single heavy soldier remained. I fought him one on one and took him down with a final, satisfying strike.
I freed the peasant, who warned me that traveling north from Azamo was dangerous because Mongols were watching the coasts. I decided to head that way to clear the path for other travelers.
I noticed the heavy Mongol from earlier hadn't died yet and was still suffering on the ground. I went over to deliver a quick end to his pain before moving on.
I handled the incident at the Hiyoshi Pass in the meantime, then continued my journey across the bridge toward the Kuta Grasslands.
The ride through the Kuta Grasslands was beautiful, but I soon reached the Kuta River bridge, which was being blocked by the Mongol territory, preventing anyone from passing safely.
I started my sabotage of the camp by picking off an archer stationed high on a watchtower. A perfect headshot ensured he didn't have time to alert the others.
I stayed low in the tall grass and repositioned to find another archer on a different tower. I took him down with another well placed arrow from the shadows.
After observing the Mongol leader, I decided to challenge him to a standoff. Unfortunately, I messed up the timing, which left me vulnerable as the fight began.
Since the standoff failed, I had to engage the leader and his soldiers in a frantic melee. It was a tough duel, but I managed to cut through them despite the initial mistake.
Another archer started peppering me with arrows from a nearby tower. I climbed up and dealt with him immediately to stop the constant pressure from above.
Several Mongols tried to climb the tower to knock me off. I fought them right there on the platform and took them down, with ending suffering of a Mongol clinging to life.
I climbed down and found only one archer left. Since he was trying to engage me in an archery duel, I decided to finish him with a single arrow of my own.
With the area cleared and the road safe, I unlocked a new smoke bomb. I tested it out immediately to see the effect, and the thick cloud looked absolutely dope.
