KVIKS After Hours

This year, we are rebranding KVIKS TV into KVIKS Media. A name that better describes what we do as an organization today. We honor our past, but look forward to our future. Mitchell interviews Luke to learn more about the purpose of the rebrand, frequently asked questions, and the organizational structure of KVIKS Media. In this episode, we were supposed to go over Quarter One reflections and the KVIKS Media changeover, but we had so much fun talking about Quarter One that you will just have to wait until the next episode to learn more about the KVIKS Media transition!

Luke shares how he reacted to certain members joining KVIKS TV and why it is great to work with friends on KVIKS TV projects. Kalani spills the beans on why Richard wasn't selected for Kapiolani Robotics. After a quick OurVPN ad, Nathan describes the pain of being and editor. Kalani also describes the struggle to edit the HIKI NO video and morning bulletin. Luke relives his PTSD of editing the 'nam twins and shares that he solved a rubiks cube for the first time in his life.

After recording episode 107 (Season 1 Episode 7), the crew tests to see if the OBS recording works... and... it.. DOES! However, the discussion took another unexpected turn when we introduce the, "no nudity" rule, free RAM, stray hats, then it became a multi-language outro episode.

Shortly after recording the billy podcast, Luke is joined by Camrenn and Chris. Wei and Thomas also suddenly make an appearance in the jazz-nono-room on discord and join in on the fun! Luke talks about the process of setting up the podcast using Voicemeeter Potato, OBS and Audition, then ultimately, the discussion changed to interviewing Class of 2020 alumnus Thomas K. and A/V needs in current KVIKS TV. We talk about how we were visited by the interim DOE Superman, then talk about Wei's trip to the mall! After finishing off the discussion with why remuxing video recordings from OBS is important, Wei blesses our podcast with profound Chinese wisdom at the end.
