This week we talk about Kapoor and Sons, directed by Shakun Batra and starring Siddharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, and Alia Bhatt.

This film is a family drama centered around two estranged brothers coming home following a family health emergency. We loved this film for its nuanced depiction of a modern Indian family, and for its top notch performances. We loved the blocking and writing by the director, and think that it is a very pathbreaking film in modern Indian Cinema.
