In this Part 1 of 2 episodes, I interview Patrick "Pat or Patty" Gorman Pro baseball player and now Coach.
Here is a little background on Pat and his professional career:
Pat Was drafted by the N.Y. Mets in the 45th round as a draft & follow & played as a pitcher in their organization for 4 years before being traded to The Baltimore Orioles for All Star Shortstop Mike Bordick where he played 3 more years before retiring because of arm injuries.
Pat was a part of 3 Minor League Championships. 1997 Gulf Coast Mets 1998 Capital City Bombers 2000 Delmarva Shorebirds
Played for the Irish National Baseball team for 2 years.

In part 1 of 2 episodes, he shares about how one of his basketball coaches not only became one of his favorite coaches but also became a life mentor to him. As a NYPD Homicide Detectives kid, he shares how it all started in baseball as a little boy, in high school as a multi-sport athlete, up through his professional career to his coaching career.
He shares key tips for coaches in any stage of their coaching career and how his basketball coach taught him one of the KEY factors to being a team player, we ball vs me ball while encouraging his team to compete while finishing strong!
