The guy who brought ANGAS to the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Wesley Gonzales was one of the most exciting and thrilling players to don the blue and white. Not only was he aggressive on the court, his tenacity and passion for the game was a key component to Ateneo's success. Although he did have a great pro career, his future was already in the works. Wes knew basketball wasn't forever, and even though he didn't really sign big contracts in the league, he took advantage of his skills and willingness to learn to make sure he was set for life. We were always fans of his game on the court, but his off-the-court brilliance is what made me respect him alot more.
