Helias Head Football Coach Chris Hentges announced Monday that the 2026 high school football season will be his last. He talks about his decision to retire after this year on the KWOS Coaches Show. Monday marks the first day of practice for fall high school sports in Missouri. Joining us on the show this week are: Helias Boys Soccer Coach Chuck Register, Jefferson City Softball Coach Whitni Howell and Capital City Football Coach Joe Collier. We also head down to Springfield to talk with Kary Booher who is the Director of Operations and Media Relations for the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
