Beyond the field, Kyle remains extremely active with many philanthropic initiatives, including Charm City Youth Lacrosse and PLL Assists. In 2005, he won the Tewaaraton Award for the best Division I NCAA lacrosse player in the country. In 2019, he was awarded the Premier Lacrosse League's Brendan Looney Leadership Award for his service and commitment to his team and the lacrosse community at large.
