Falcons rookie tight end Kyle Pitts turned in a historic performance with seven catches for 163 yards to help lift the team to a 30-28 victory over the Dolphins. The Falcons improved to 3-3 as quarterback Matt Ryan led them team into position for the game-winning 36-yard field goal. Pitts became the first tight end since Oakland's Raymond Chester did so in Week 5 and 6 of the 1970 season to have have back-to-back 100-yard games. His play masked a fourth-quarter collapse by the defense the blew a 27-14 lead in the fourth quarter.
