We all know how good Kyrie Irving can be from his time here in Boston so nobody should be that surprised when I say he torched us. Kyrie got to every spot and made every incredible contest we threw his way. Defensively we were actually in his air space the majority of the night including a couple of excellent contests from Grant early on and from Smart and Theis throughout. It wasn't just Kyrie that killed us but the play of Landry Shamet who always seems to have his way with this Celtics team.

I will say that I thought we were in for a treat when Kemba scored 9 points early in the first quarter and was getting wherever he wanted on the court but that cooled down as quick as it gets as he only scored 2 more points in the remaining three quarters. JB also struggled from the field where he shot just 5-23 ending with only 13 points. I know a lot of fans are frustrated after this loss and deservedly so. We were going back and forth all game long and had several leads throughout the game including an 11 point lead early on. We also had the game within 2 points with 3 minutes or so left in the game just to watch Brooklyn go on a tear and Boston miss several open shots. It's certainly a frustrating shot to say the least but we look forward to our game against Houston on Sunday NIGHT (hopefully the Sunday Scaries don't apply to night games).
