Lewis Kuhlman, La Crosse’s environmental planner, in studio to discuss the upcoming Solar Power Hour and the city's home energy audit program for low income residents.
The Solar Power Hour happens from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the People's Food Coop, to inform area residents about equipping their homes or small businesses with solar and how to make that cheaper buying as a group. There will be more meetings like this in July and August as well for the program through Grow Solar La Crosse.
Kuhlman also discussed the city's home energy audit program that helps residents pay for and acquire grants to make their homes more energy efficient.
In between those conversations, we took a detour with Kuhlman, who has been with the city 13 years including last eight in his current position, to discuss data centers and their environmental impact.
