Best friend, Julie Padilla, has been in my life for over 25 years, today she flipped the script and interviews me.  Find out about my favorite snack, how I became a therapist, being serenaded by a Mariachi (hopes), my Loteria card and more..  Take a listen as I share part of my origin story, hopes and dreams, as well as how this show got to be, got its name.  Julie will be featured on a future episode, where I will be taking my hosting duties back as you get to hear about her amazing journey.

Liliana Hernandez, a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with over 25,000 hours of accumulated experience.  For the past 15 years I have worked in the mental health field. I have been a coordinator, therapist, supervisor, and director.  I have facilitated women support groups and retreats as well as having presented on topics such as trauma and sexual abuse at local workshops, trainings and conferences. I have also been an adjunct professor at a university of psychology teaching community mental health where I went on to be a Co-Director of the Latino Family Program for a few years.

Towards the tail end of the pandemic, I walked away as Director of a Mental Health Agency in the County of Los Angeles, due to the mental health toll it was taking on my soul, so I resigned to pursued other dreams, one of which is to be self-employed and the other this podcast.

Corazón, Cultura Lotería Podcast, is a weekly show where you will be listening to others like you and I, about life, the ups and the downs, the joys and disappointments, issues of the heart, body, mind and soul through a bit of storytelling, some funny stories and some may be not so much, with the goal to inspire questions needed to may be do something different in our lives.
