In today’s episode of our podcast, we’re joined by our educator Jorge Ocampo and our Bilingualism Coordinator Andrés Cifuentes, who tells us all about the summer camp that took place during the holidays in Villeta with grades 4, 5, and 6. The purpose of this camp was to practice the English language and enjoy recreational moments. The activities were super fun including a spa day, sports, and much more.

As a school, it’s very important for us that our students take part in these kind of activities. They help us grow as a community and prepare for the future, both in mastering English and in upcoming immersion trips to different countries.

We talk about the update of our brand as Liceo de Cervantes El Retiro Bilingual, a process that has taken time and is now bearing fruit. We are proud to be officially certified as a bilingual school.

We thank the families, students, teachers, and the entire community for being part of this journey with the British Council. Our students also take diagnostic exams to assess their level and help us improve as an institution.

We also share our plan to become an International school in partnership with the University of Cambridge, one of our greatest goals.
