The CPSC and Laars Heating Systems have recalled Laars Heating Systems Residential Atmospheric Gas-fired Boilers branded as Laars Mini-Therm JX and Bradford White Brute Min. A blocked vent temperature switch could malfunction, release gases including the odorless and colorless carbon monoxide that creates a risk of asphyxiation and death.   If you have these boilers installed in your home or business, contact the Laars Heating Systems Company by phone at 1-888-454-3223 or via email at [email protected] to have a certified technician install necessary modifications.  If you must continue to use the boiler while awaiting the repairs, employ working carbon monoxide monitors on ever level of your home or business.
