Some people that say they grew up in the industry, but Galen Hooks ACTUALLY grew up working in the industry. Pulling in experiences starting when she was only 7, Galen and I sat down and talked about everything from self discipline, class etiquette, teacher/student responsibilities in the classroom, working with her icons, her work as an activist, and the state of the dance game now. My hope is that everyone who watches/listens to this is inspired. Inspired to act. Inspired to start. Inspired to persevere.
