Rise up, comrades, and join the Revival League’s “Labor Day Worker’s Soda Review!” The “Gang of Four” -- Greg, Ron, Robb and Erica (plus special guest Frank “Zombie Nightmare” Dietz) -- sample sodas from across Eastern Europe. The results are anything but revolutionary. It’s a Long March as the gang questions the means of soda production, all while sipping such Iron Curtain flavors as tarragon, elderberry, bitter lemon, sour cherry, quinine and anise. Soft drinks from Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina all march across everyone’s taste buds, until their poor palates start Stalin out. This Labor Day Special certainly left its Marx. The consensus: most of these beverages would be improved with a stiff shot of vodka. All this, and a long winter’s bread line, on this week’s episode of the Revival League Podcast!
