You can't discuss education in the Chicagoland area without bringing up Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teachers Union. So we invited CTU member Ryan to share his own experience as a teacher, what impossible standards non-union teachers across the country are held to, and finally, how and why the education system has been on the downward spiral ever since our government bought the idea that letting Bill(ionaire) Gates(keepers) throw a bunch of money around would lead to improved test scores.
