Sunday’s sermon from the Community Evangelical Free Church in Soap Lake, WA. After a break from the Gospel of Mathew for the month of December, we now step back into the last portion of Matthew to work through the final few chapters. As we dive into Matthew 25 this Sunday we spend time looking at the parable of the Talents in 25:14-30. As we reflect on God’s Word we are confronted with the question, “when Christ returns one day will we be found to be faithful servants who have labored for His Kingdom, or unfaithful servants who have only thought of ourselves?” The prayer is that we will be encouraged to humbly serve the Lord where and how He is asking us, for the advancement of His kingdom.
