I found out very quickly that the gift that God has given to us, which is salvation is totally free. I spent the first year of my salvation, trying to repay him for what he did and before I knew it, he stopped me in my tracks. As we celebrate Labor Day and physically rest, let’s not forget that as we rest from our day job that we should also make sure we are resting in knowing that we are saved. Condemnation could have us thinking we have to prove to God that he didn’t make a mistake choosing us when in all honesty, that’s untrue. God knew us before we were even thought about in this world, he knew our mistakes, our losses, or wins, our mess ups. Everything !!
