The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Empower Brands are recalling BLACK+DECKER Model HGS011 Easy Garment Steamers. These steamers can spew scalding hot water and steam creating burn hazards.
About 1.6 million steamers were sold at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and other stores nationwide, including online at walmart.com, target.com, amazon.com, bedbathandbeyond.com, and blackanddeckerappliances.com. In November, 2022, 518,500 of these steamers were recalled for repair, but these units continue to burn.
Stop using these steamers and contact Empower at 800-990-5298 or email them at [email protected]m to receive a full refund.
