Good medieval romance set in Scotland
This book was quite all right. The beginning is very exciting, with a thrilling and dramatic rescue at sea. The first half of the book is very entertaining but the second half not so much. The characters are very good though. Nevertheless, I felt that there were some loose ends and not all aspects of the character's pasts are well developed, for example the hero's dead wife and the circumstances of her death and the way it impacted on the hero's character.
Notwithstanding, I wold recommend this scottish medieval romance since I enjoyed reading it.
This one is certainly a keeper
Lady with the Devil's Scar (Harlequin Historical)
This is the story of two main characters who both bear scars, one more obvious. In a gripping suspence story set in Medieval times they have to overcome almost impossible odds.But the reward is worth the journey you would want to share with these extraordinary people.
Four Stars
I enjoy her stories nonsensical, easy reading
It begins with a rescue from the sea.
Isobel and Marc are distrustful strangers; though they are enemies sworn to protect each other. Will M betray and lead an army against I and her clan, or will he save her? This story is quite an adventure!
A nice story
I really like Sophia James but this was one of her weaker stories. It was a fun read but not up to some of her other stories.
