In today's episode we’re going to meet Havana Nguyen, she is a Senior UX Designer with a specialty in Interaction Design. She is a writer for UX Design Collective and UX Planet, has a Youtube series on career, and does illustration and comics as well. In her previous life, she ran a graphic design business and then worked as a consultant at a software company.

Some fun facts about her: She has a bachelor's degree in International Affairs and won an Outstanding Delegate Award for the 2011 Model Arab League conference in D.C. from the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations. 

She has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu which she's trained for 4 years, 

she is the Lead Character Artist on the award-winning series Kamikaze, previously featured on NPR, attends conventions to promote the series; 

also a mega geek, and currently serves as a Second Director of the Moderation department at Momocon, 

She is Public speaker who loves talking about UX, technology, career development, self-improvement, and inclusion, 

and she ran a highly popular Sonic the Hedgehog fansite that garnered thousands of visitors a week when I was a kid.
