PRODUCER | ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - Laila Petrone was born in London and is of Italian and

Dominican decent. She is the daughter of actress Iris Peynado. Laila began acting at the age of five and

some of her notable performances have been in: Luigi Magno’s historical masterpiece "State Buoni, Se Potete,"

the role of Pina for Spike Lee’s "Miracle at St’ Anna" and A damsel in distress for the popular Italian music

video "Guantanamera" by Banda Bassotti. Currently, Laila Petrone is working professionally as an assistant

director and producer as well as working on her own Short Film which she will be directing this winter.
