Howdy, y'all! This is Artificial Lure, your local Lake Fork fishing expert, comin' at ya with the latest scoop on what's bitin' and where to wet your line. It's March 24, 2025, and let me tell you, the fishin's hotter than a jalapeno pepper right now!

First off, we've got a beautiful day ahead of us. Sun's risin' at 7:18 AM and settin' at 7:37 PM, givin' us plenty of daylight to reel in some lunkers. Weather's lookin' mighty fine with temps in the mid-60s and just a light breeze – perfect for getting out on the water.

Now, let's talk fish. The bass are movin' up shallow, folks! Water temp's sittin' around 57 degrees, and these big ol' girls are getting ready to spawn. We've been seein' a lot of activity in 1-3 feet of water, with some real beauties in the 8-10 pound range being caught this past week.

For you crappie enthusiasts, they're bitin' too! Lots of pre-spawn action goin' on, with fish holdin' in 6-20 feet of water. Some folks have even spotted 'em in as shallow as 2 feet!

Now, what're they bitin' on, you ask? Well, for bass, chatterbaits and spinnerbaits have been killin' it in that shallow water. Don't forget your Senkos and flukes along the grass edges. If you're after them slabs, hand-tied jigs, soft plastics, and good ol' live minnows are your best bet.

As for hot spots, y'all might want to check out Birch Creek. That Big Bass Point just before the Highway 514 Bridge has been producin' some real hogs lately. Another sweet spot is that underwater bridge up in Running Creek – them bass love to hang around that structure.

Remember, folks, the lake's at full pool right now, so be mindful of them submerged hazards. Keep your eyes peeled and your lines tight!
