Both Montrail’s Max King and AdiUltra’s Emily Harrison were collegiate standouts who bring wicked leg speed and an intense focus on racing to Healdsburg.

Max’s combination of a 2:14 marathon, steeplechase champs and mountain running champs–not to mention his quest to punch his ticket to Western States–make him a formidable competitor.

And fresh off a smokin fast 50k and a win at her JFK debut in ’13, Emily has been living at Ian Torrence’s mountain fortress in Flagstaff and targeting Sonoma as her “A” race. Watch for these two to go for the win.
