Abigail Field is a renowned sports photographer celebrated for her work with the Los Angeles Lakers where she has captured some of the most talked about and important sports moments in recent years.
Beginning with her roots in soccer she decided at a young age not to pursue athletics at a higher level but began leaning into her passion of photography, finding her unique footing capturing incredible moments of other athletes. Abigail discusses how she went from shooting college soccer games to landing a job with the Los Angeles Lakers. Hustling her way to the top of her profession, sending out numerous emails, growing her network, and taking chances others might not. She shares her "Moto" that the worst someone can say is no, & that by pursuing what she was passionate about she created a reality in that her job is something that she would happy consume 24 hours a day.
Passionate about the art of story telling and capturing the emotions of a moment, Abigail shares her experience of photographing Kobe Bryant's Memorial Service, LeBron James breaking the NBA All-Time Scoring Record, & her experiences getting to personally know some of the biggest names in basketball. Her passion for photography is evident in her dedication to her craft, her constant pursuit of inspiration from other photographers, and her commitment to capturing the essence of a game or event. Cherishing the sense of competition and camaraderie that being part of a team brings. Discussing the experience of being a female in a male dominated field, Abigail shares her insights on what it takes to be successful in this field, how she over came imposter syndrome, & what she plans to do next in her future.
