In a potential first-round playoff match-up, the Lakers played some of their best basketball of the season and Anthony Davis explodes for 42 points against the Phoenix Suns, the team with the second-best record in the West. The Lakers defense held Chris Paul and Devin Booker to a combined 34 points, 13 for CP3 and 21 for Book. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Alex Caruso both added 17 points with Caruso adding 8 assists and KCP hitting 4 from deep. Lakers now prepare for Julius Randle and the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.
