Born and raised in Banff, Landan has spent over three decades embedded in the town’s culture, sports scene, and community. By day he works at IGA, but for more than 20 years he has been right in the middle of high-pressure competition, officiating hockey for 22 years and basketball for over a decade. Since August 2025, he has also stepped behind the microphone as co-host of The Leo & Lando Show, a sports-focused podcast exploring stories, opinions, and perspectives from across the sports world.
