University football player Landen Hatchett underwent wrist surgery, potentially ending his season. The Huskies offense faces another challenge as Hatchett, a key player, was injured in the eighth game against Illinois. Despite attempting to play with a cast, he had to leave the field. If his season is over, he wont play alongside his brother, Geirean Hatchett, for the remainder of the year. Sophomore Zach Henning has taken over as starter. Hatchett has previously dealt with injuries, including a knee surgery in 2021. The Huskies await bowl pairings, potentially facing the Mountain West championship winner in the LA Bowl.
