Once a healthy, active teenager, Landen Williams found himself in the emergency room with shortness of breath and stabbing chest pains. A year later, he was still looking for answers as doctors told him his symptoms were anxiety related and “all in his head.”  A short time after, he met with Dr. Jordan Vaughn of Birmingham and received the diagnosis of long Covid with micro and macro blood clots and hope for healing. 

Landen is currently in Cyprus receiving experimental treatment for his condition and he’s hopeful that this will help him get his life back. We check in with him and his mom, Jill, to get an update on his progress.
